Medical Director - Growth & Recovery Services
Possessing years of experience in addiction medicine, C. Marlo Baird, MD, currently serves as the Medical Director of New Jersey’s Growth & Recovery Services. Based in Marlton, the addiction services facility offers multiple treatment options for individuals as well as support for their families. C. Marlo Baird, MD, holds responsibility for the facility’s direction, program development, and clinical staff supervision. Her leadership has led to the increased role of counseling in new treatment programs available at Growth & Recovery Services.
Certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Dr. Baird also holds board certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine and American Board of Preventive Medicine. She obtained her degree in medicine from the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center College of Medicine. Dr. Baird went on to attend Johns Hopkins University where she completed her residency in General Preventive Medicine in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She later earned her MPH at the same institution.
Beyond her professional work, C. Marlo Baird, MD, fosters and rescues Siberian huskies. Working with the Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue, she has concentrated much of her focus on caring for canines with special medical needs. She received the “Guardian Angel Award” from the rescue organization in recognition of her work and commitment. Dr. Baird also serves as an active participant in her church’s activities.
In her free time, Dr. Baird likes to spend time in the mountains and at the beach. She counts golf, chess, trivia games, and video games among her other favorite pastimes.
